u dont have what it takes anywaySitting on my butt drinking dumb amounts of Pepsi while fighting off Skully’s butt as you plan your marriage to Swag?
I think I’m fine where I’m at THANK YOU.
i have been schooled by a 12 year old
This disgusts me.
This was physically difficult for me to watch. Thinking about it gives me a strange, uncomfortable feeling in my gut. I know a lot of responses to this video are going to sound like a Suicidal Tendencies song, but I’ve been in this position before. I’m pretty sure everybody who’s pursued a more creative career has been in this position before.
Music is important. Art is important. Writing is important. Expressing yourself in the way you’re most comfortable with is the most important thing in the world. You’re contributing to the zeitgeist, and even if you’re not immediately changing the world, you’re changing the way you understand yourself. You learn more about yourself the more you create. You learn more about the world around you as you create; nobody exists in a vacuum. You draw inspiration from what you see, hear, experience. You take in the entire world and you put it down on paper or canvas or record.
And as you create, you inspire others to create. You better yourself and you better the lives of others. People you’ve known all your life, people you’ve just met, people you may never see the face of. Whether you know it or not. Somebody, somewhere, is creating something because of you right now. That’s a guarantee. I draw my inspiration from the strangest places. Who’s to say you haven’t inspired me? Or anybody else?
Nobody would have any dreams if one of us useless drains on society hadn’t come along to lay the groundwork. That’s the value creativity has.
