Dave fastened his tie around his neck. He brushed off his sleeves making sure there wasn’t a single wrinkle in his suit. Today was a special day, not for him but of someone important to him, someone he loved more than anything. 

Dave had thrown the biggest party ever at his apartment. He was the dj, he had the best food and drinks, all of the guests brought amazing gifts, the whole place was decorated. That special someone had seemed to be enjoying the party for the most part. After hours of partying Dave decided it was time he gave the little troll his gift. 

“karkat, come with me” he said as he grabbed the other boys hand not giving him a chance to refuse. He led him up to the roof top. 

“hey where the hell are we going Strider? The party is downstairs.” The troll didn’t try to fight the hand that was pulling him upstairs. The door was open and Karkat stared at what was once a old empty roof. The roof had a large table in the middle of it covered in a deep red cloth. In the center of the table was a black box wrapped in a red ribbon. 

Karkat was speechless. He wasn’t sure what was going on. Dave pulled Karkat towards the table and told him to sit down in one of the chairs. 

“open the box” he motioned it towards Karkat who took it hesitantly but opened it. Inside was a necklace with a small sickle on the end. 

“Happy Birthday” Dave said leaning in and kissing him passionately on the lips. Karkat returned the kiss. After a moment Dave broke away and added “I have something else too.”

“something else?” Karkat asked. 

Dave pulled out a guitar from behind the table and took a seat next to Karkat and began playing a song he had wrote. Karkat stared at him in wonder, almost on the verge of tears at how happy he was. 

The second Dave was done playing the song Karkat’s lips were on his. He wrapped his arms around Dave’s neck and wispered in his ear “thank you…” Dave smiled and pulled Karkat to him, kissing him again. 

Yeah I told you it’d suck sorry. >.< I’ve been on a bad slump with these two lately. T_T anyways Happy birthday Skully!! you’re amazing and awesome and I love you.<3 I hope you have and awesome birthday! You rock!! :D

Fanfic for skully

Karkat could feel Dave’s cold body against him as they kissed. It surprised him how fucking cold humans were when they were near death or sick. He can’t even remember why he suggested they do it here in this cave but it was the only thing after falling down the waterfall he could think of to do so Dave didn’t die of hypothermia in the weather. Karkat didn’t exactly hate it and from the feel of it neither did Dave as he reached down and slid off Karkats last piece of clothing. God why did it feel so nice having Dave’s cold lip touch his skin and hearing the waterfalling in the water beside them. karkat pulled Dave closer trying to warm his body more as he slid off Dave’s wet pants and boxers and feeling his cold skin under him. Dave suddenly grabbed Karkats thigh and Karkat let out a small sound of surprise. As pale and shaky as Dave was he still managed his dickface smirk. “Fuck no Strider, I’m topping. You’re too fucking weak.” Before Dave could respond Karkat pushed himself into Dave, hearing a much enjoyed moan escape from his trembling lips. Karkat was about to find out if that stupid human saying or whatever the fuck it was about having sex could warm you up and break a fever, he could only try. 

woah i didn’t think i’d have that much room to write it. O_O hahah idk why this, I imagined them falling off a waterfall after fighting and running from someone one and the weather is freezing and Dave get’s a fever and is close to hypo thermia. To escape their chasers they hide in a cave behind the waterfall and Karkat remembers that saying after he kisses Dave and then welp they do it. XD hahaha wow maybe i can finish that fic, i didn’t think i knew these characters too well. XD
