Artist’s comments: Well, since people thought it would be a good idea, I went ahead and drew Korra as I did Asami: [link] she’s feeling really hot, and so am I. Miserable, miserable hot days these are. As previously stated: I think we need our heroes in the jungles in the next one getting pelted by blistering heat.
and just like Asami, I did it because this was based on the idea of more detailed pictures of characters that are not uncommon in manga publications where the author (or ‘mangaka’) draws some of the characters in completely unrelated outfits and scenarios for covers or random transitional illustrations.
Also, don’t look at it with too much detail. I get fed up with trying to get stuff look super refined and can’t help myself. That motorcycle… ugh. Ignore that motorcycle.
