Artist’s comments: So I finished watching Legend of Korra and I think we need our heroes (and Asami) in the jungles in the next one.
anyway, this was based on the idea of more detailed pictures of characters that are not uncommon in manga publications where the author (or ‘mangaka’) draws some of the characters in completely unrelated outfits and scenarios for covers or random transitional illustrations. I don’t know about a lot of them, but I know Akira Toriyama did that with his Dragon Ball characters a lot.
